We sincerely appreciate any financial support you may offer!

Our mission is to create opportunities for students to cultivate their character which will make them better future leaders. My teaching team and I have recently encountered some financial challenges that hinder us from fully realizing our goals and I’m writing to you to request support.

We are very proud of our students for their hard work in attaining their goals. Last year our Raider Team placed 6th in a national competition. Our drill team started an honor platoon, which is preparing to go to a national competition as well. This year our color guard was selected to be the regimental color guard for the city (11 schools), which is a respectable honor.

We recently found out that our program will not receive the same funding we received last year from our district office, and we will not be able to participate in some national competitions. We humbly seek your financial aid to assist us in our efforts. The students are doing their part through chocolate bar sales and other fundraising efforts. Your funding will greatly help us reach our goals and maintain some of the opportunities that we have had in the past.

I cannot tell you how greatly we appreciate any help you can provide. This program has tremendous potential to be much better with additional funding. Your contribution is an investment, not only for the current West High School JROTC but also for the future of the students who will strive to reach what their prior alumni have accomplished.
